Vitamin and Supplements

We aim to support our patients’ health and recommend supplements from reputable, well established, third party tested companies that have been proven to be the best in the industry.  They never contain additives, food colorings, heavy metals or artificial fillers.  A majority of the supplements we offer have been tested by our staff and are of the highest quality and in the most absorb-able form while being as hypoallergenic (no soy, gluten/wheat, dairy, eggs or corn) as possible.

Some of the companies who’s products we utilize include:

  1. Douglas Laboratories
  2. Integrative Therapeutics (Tyler)
  3. Thorne
  4. Metagenics
  5. DaVinci Laboratories
  6. Pure Encapsulations
  7. Boiron
  8. Vital Nutrients
  9. Wise Woman Herbals

There are many companies that offer supplements, but they are not all created equal.  The amount, the form, the bio-availability, how it is stored/isolated and the specific part of a plant (herb/botanical) that is utilized can greatly alter the efficacy of a supplement.

Many times, those supplements that are purchased at the grocery store can be more economically sound when these attributes are no considered.  They also tend to contain preservatives, heavy metals and food colorings (FD&C Red #40 Lake, Yellow #5) .  In the long term, you may end up spending more money in order to obtain a therapeutic/effective dose and potentially subject yourself to these harmful additives and fillers.  Click here for information on how we select the products that we recommend.........
